Pastor Bajinder Singh, known for his viral “Mera Yeshu Yeshu” videos, has been booked for sexual harassment in Punjab’s Jalandhar district. A woman has alleged that Singh harassed her at his church since 2022, making her sit alone in a cabin, hugging, and inappropriately touching her. Police have registered a case under sections 354A (sexual harassment), 354D (stalking), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the complaint, the woman and her parents had been attending Singh’s church since October 2017. She alleged that Singh took her mobile number and started messaging her, but she did not inform her family out of fear. She further claimed that Singh engaged in inappropriate phone conversations and called her to meet him alone in his church cabin during Sunday services.

Kapurthala City police station house officer (SHO) Bikramjit Singh confirmed that the allegations are being verified, and no arrests have been made yet. “We are cross-checking and verifying the allegations leveled by the woman. The arrest will be made based on evidence gathered during the investigation,” he stated. The police are examining digital communication records and witness statements.

This is not the first time Singh has faced legal trouble. In 2018, he was booked in a rape case in Chandigarh, where a woman alleged that he sexually assaulted her and recorded the incident. Singh’s church has also been under scrutiny for alleged financial fraud, with reports claiming he collected money from followers in exchange for miracle healings. The Income Tax department has previously investigated him on fraud allegations.

Despite the accusations, Singh continues to have a significant following. His YouTube channel has 3.74 million subscribers, and his social media presence attracts large audiences. Some of his supporters have protested, calling the allegations false and an attempt to defame him. The investigation remains ongoing, with police yet to take Singh into custody.
